'All Smalls' Theme Juried Art Show
Call Description
Annual Holiday Show - open to members only of Mountain Artists Guild; an online and in-gallery show. Award ribbons will be given. NOTE: You MUST enter your art submissions online in ‘All Smalls’ on ArtCall.org. https://allsmalls.artcall.org
The deadline for submission on ArtCall is 5:00 PM on October 21.
20x20 or Smaller Holiday Show
Total size of 2D and 3D artworks not to exceed 20"x20" including frame for framed works or 400 square inches total.
Entry Fees - up to 5 submissions per member artist in any category; non-refundable fee of $20.00. Pay by credit card on: https://allsmalls.artcall.org/
Accepting applications for the following awards categories:
- 2D Fine Art and 2D Decorative Wall Art - painting in any medium, mixed media, fiber art, tilework
- 2D Photography - black and white, sepia, color
- 3D Fine Art - woodworking, ceramics, weaving, sculpture, glass art, stone carving, mixed-media objects, mosaics
- Jewelry - 100% handcrafted, metal, minerals, gems, beads, polymer clay, leather
The deadline for submission on ArtCall is 5:00 PM on October 21. All submissions will be juried and either accepted or not accepted into the Gallery Show for final judging. Artists will be notified of acceptance by Friday, October 22, 2021. Members are guaranteed at least one piece that follows Gallery Standards to be accepted into the show.
In addition to the All Smalls Juried Show, we will also be accepting submissions from Members of Non-Juried items such as holiday Giftables. Giftable items include small prints of original paintings and other printed items such as tote bags, pouches, greeting cards, mugs, non-Juried 3-D items, jewelry, ornaments, fiber art items, etc. These giftable items should not be entered on ArtCall. All Non-Juried Submissions must be entered using a Holiday Show Non-Juried Art Form which can be found on our website https://www.mountainartistsguild.org/main-gallery or can be picked up at the Gallery. Applications for giftables must be received no later than 5:00pm on October 21, 2021. No late entries will be accepted.

Deadline for submission: October 21, 2021 by 5:00pm. Late applications will not be accepted. There will be no walk-in applications on Intake dates.
Gallery In-take Dates

Artists will be asked to make an intake appointment after submitting their application.

Participation Rules
- Submissions must be entered online using the ‘All Smalls’ ArtCall.org website.
- All art must be for sale.
- Artwork accepted into previous 2021 Mountain Artists Guild shows is not eligible for submission without the permission of the director@mountainartistsguild.org
- Artwork, in whole or in part, must be created solely by the artist.
- Artwork, in whole or in part, must not infringe on any copyright.
- Paintings or photographs of nudes or work inappropriate for family viewing will not be accepted.
- Price your work to reflect the 25% commission to The Guild.
- The maximum framed size is 20 x 20 inches or 400 square inches. No Exceptions on size. Heavy sculptures and other heavy 3-dimensional objects must be easily movable by members and be standalone (not on a wall).
- Paintings and photographs may be framed or unframed provided unframed images are on canvas or metal.
- Once the awards have been announced, accepted entries will be on display in the Web Gallery for one year. Artists who enter this show are responsible for handling (packaging) and shipping of items sold. Artists in the Web Gallery show must inform the Guild if they sell their work so that the Web Gallery is kept up-to-date.
Submission Instructions
- Images of artwork should have no background/frame visible and artwork under glass should show no reflections.
- Images must represent the work accurately.
- You may submit more than one image of paintings, photographs, 3-dimensional objects and jewelry to show different sides of the item or close-up detail. DO NOT SUBMIT different artwork; only photos for one piece.
- If photographing 3-dimensional objects or jewelry, place them on either a white or black non-textured background.
- Images should be in JPG, PNG or PDF file format.
- The maximum file size for uploading is 4MB. If your image file size is greater than this, use a photo or image editing program to reduce the size of the image before uploading.
- Mountain Artists Guild reserves the right to reject artwork that is not photographed correctly and reflects poorly on the artist and the Guild.
